TIPS TO BACK UP THE DATA OF YOUR WHATSAPP ON GOOGLE DRIVE

WhatsApp has recently launched a wonderful opportunity to bareback up chats and other data with the help of Google Drive. The WhatsApp users can save their chats, audio and video messages as well as pictures on the cloud as long as they want them to be stored. To save the WhatsApp chat on Google cloud, users must connect their WhatsApp account with their Google account. The existing users who are using WhatsApp on their current handset for over a year will not face such data loss but, the active users who have reinstalled the Whatsapp or recently changed their handset will go through the data loss.

Steps to automatically update the Whatsapp data

Step 1: If you are a WhatsApp user and want to update your WhatsApp chat and added it automatically on your Smartphone then at first you have to update your WhatsApp with the latest version of the application.

Step 2:  Don’t forget to activate Google Drive on your Smartphone.

Step 3: Open your WhatsApp account and then select the menu option in your WhatsApp.

Step 4: Now go to the settings of your WhatsApp account.

Step 5: In the settings of your WhatsApp account, you should select the chats option.

Step 6: In the chats option of your WhatsApp account even find the chat back up option which should be selected immediately.

Step 7: Now you have to select backup to Google drive under the backup option.

Step 8:  In the next step you have to select the backup frequency other than never option.

Step 9: Now you have to select the Google account of your choice when you have decided to back up all your chats and other data in your WhatsApp account.

Steps to manually update the Whatsapp data

Go the Settings option from the Menu in Whatsapp and then select Chats. After that, select chat back up and tap on the backup option to back up the Google Drive manually.
