Recently a revamped version of the Vivo Y93 has been launched which is named as the Y93s smartphone. The new version has been uploaded with a number of new features which were missing in the previous model by Vivo. In this post, we are will share with you the complete information about this newly launched version of the Vivo Y93.
The upgraded version has is bundled with MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, which will replace the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 which fuelled the Vivo Y93. Another improvement done in this refurbished model, by the Vivo, the built-in storage space size has been enhanced to 128GB from the 64 GB in the earlier version.
Unlike Vivo Y93, which runs on Snapdragon 439, the new version of the Vivo will be integrated with the Helio P22 processor. However, the Helio P22 processor is not that much ahead of the Snapdragon 439. Both are having eight Cortex-A53 cores, which can run up to 2.0GHz and both of them are built on a 12nm process. About storage space, as shred earlier, the new and upgraded version i.e. Vivo Y93s will have 128GB of internal storage which was 64GB in the former version i.e. Y93, however in terms of the primary storage i.e. RAM size both of the smartphones are having 4GB.
Proceeding towards the other specifications which the Vivo Y93s is carrying, the new version will have the same 6.2 inches seize display with the teardrop notch up top. If we speak about the camera, the new Vivo Y93s will have a dual rear camera setup of 13MP + 2MP, along with an 8MP front camera which is similar to the Vivo Y93. The battery size of both models have been kept intact that is the new version by Vivo will have 4,030 mAh battery size which is similar to the Vivo Y93s.
Talking about the pricing, the new Vivo Y93s has been priced at CNY 1,698 (which is roughly around Rs 17,674/- if converted into Indian currency), and it higher than the retail price of the existing Vivo Y93, which is available at CNY 1,500 (which is roughly around Rs 15,606/- if converted into Indian currency). The new version i.e. Vivo Y93s is coming up with two color variants – the first one is Zixia Red and the second is Aurora Red.
